HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM EVERY TRAINING SESSION:

Each athlete undergoes a thorough movement evaluation (FMS and FRA).
With these assessments we build a mobility and injury prevention program that addresses your specific needs and goals.

FLEXIBILITY

Movement is a skill that can only be developed through practice.
Each training session places focus on teaching linear or multi-directional speed, so you learn to transfer that skill to your sport.
SPEED
& AGILITY

Strength training alone does not produce more explosive athletes. That's why we use specialized Soviet training methods to increase your ability to produce more force faster. This is done through ballistics, plyometrics, med ball work, and jumping/landing techniques.
EXPLOSIVENESS & POWER

We are the ONLY program in Tampa Bay that uses the Internal Strength Model (ISM). This method addresses both the internal strength of connective tissues and the external strength produced by the nervous system and muscles. Training this way maximizes the amount of force the body can absorb (injury prevention) and Generate (Strength).
All this is done with a high priority on movement quality.

Coach Ryan Bruggeman
Coach Ryan Bruggeman is a seasoned veteran with over 20 years experience in Performance Training for Professional Athletes. Over the past 8 years he has helped a variety of Pro's with off-season preparation at Physical Culture, including:
MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA, UFC, PGA, and Olympic Athletes.
Coach Bruggeman has served as the Head Strength Coach and Director of Sports Performance for several organizations, including:

Coach Ryan is the ONLY Strength & Conditioning specialist in Tampa Bay who is fully certified in Functional Range Systems. This distinction enables him to blend a broad skill set of rehab, mobility, and strength & Conditioning into a fully comprehensive program.
As a competitive Athlete, Coach Ryan understands the demands of physical preparation and how to blend training, nutrition, and recovery for peak performance. At age 40, He still competes in Jiu Jitsu, recently placing 3rd in the IBJJF World Championships and regularly competes in Triathlons.
Coach Ryan is passionate about helping Athletes recover from Injuries and defying the aging process, After battling his own injuries (Herniated disks, shoulder dislocations, Meniscus & Labral tears, etc...) from competing in combat sports, Coach Ryan has a deep understanding of how to blend rehab and training to increase longevity and optimize performance.
