Optimizing your recovery is just as, if not more important than your training. However most of us neglect this aspect of health, fitness and performance. Recovering from the stress of your training session (in addition to the stresses of everyday life) is when your body repairs and adapts, getting stronger, more mobile, more conditioned, etc. Insufficient recovery decreases your body's ability to maximize positive adaptations from your exercise. Or in other words, less gainz.
