ATHLETIC COMBINE

PERFORMANCE TESTING FOR YOUTH ATHLETES

 JOIN US SEPTEMBER 8TH FOR THE

PHYSICAL CULTURE gYM 

athletIC combine

EVENTS INCLUDE:

- 10 yard dash

- Vertical Jump

- Broad Jump

- Seated Med Ball Throw

- 5 Rep - Trap Bar Deadlift

- 5 Rep - Bench Press | Max Push-ups

- Max Rep Chin-Ups | Bent Arm Hang (Time)

- Farmer Carry (1/2 Body Weight for Distance)

- 15 Feet Shuttle (60 Seconds)

- 1 Mile Airdyne Test

 

EVENT DETAILS:

- Athletes will compete in male or female divisions.

- Each division will be separated into groups by age.

- Ages 13-15 and 16-18

- Athletes from all sports are welcome

WHEN: September 8th.

Check-in opens at 9:00 am.

 Testing starts promptly at 10:00 am.

WHERE: Physical Culture Gym

COST: Non-Members $20  |  PCG Members $10

Prizes will be awarded to the top athletes in each division.

The Athletic Combine includes a variety of performance tests that measure qualities of strength and determine the athlete's level of physical preparedness. 

The goal of the combine is to identify areas of opportunity to make better training decisions.

 

 Testing will measure the following:

       - Absolute Strength (upper & Lower)

       - Relative Strength

       - Power (upper & lower)

       - Acceleration

       - Strength Endurance

       - Lactic Capacity

       - Aerobic Power
